Elaine Arrozarena

Elaine L. Arozarena is an International Advisor with vast experience in tangible asset management to service, design and manage capital initiatives (programs) for companies (private and publicly-held) building leading domestic and international teams entering new or emerging markets. She is also specialized in start-ups and turn-around operations to ensure results.

Elaine is President and Managing Partner of Global Strategic Advise Services and the sister company “Global Human Capital Solutions”. She has conducted more than 300 senior management projects for over the past 15 years. She specializes in International, Diversity/Multi-cultural and Board Level projects. Her strengths include emerging markets and change management cases. Prior to her career in Executive Search that includes periods with Russell Reynolds Associates (developed Latin America markets from start), Heidrick & Struggles (International Practice Head) and Korn Ferry International (Iberian Peninsula Head), Elaine served as VP and Managing Director of Media and News Services for Nielsen International, and VP of International Client Sales and Services for Nielsen Europe. Earlier, she held several senior Regional Management positions in Latin America and Europe with Dun & Bradstreet International- Credit Services Division. She started her career with the Secretaría de Hacienda y Crédito Público (Treasury Department)-Asuntos Hacendarios Internacionales of the Mexican Government, in Mexico City and also worked in the Renewable Energy Resources Division of the World Bank in Washington, D.C.

Elaine’s present Board activities include Jenwood Global with HQ in Miami, FL and. NGC Partners in Luxembourg, Europe., and Rellevate- Digital Banking Services, with HQ in NY and QPagos with HQ in Miami, FL. She is .President of Sabores Autenticos de Mexico Foundation and of Asociacion de Restaurantes Mexicanos; VP and Treasurer of CCMEXES (Camara de Comercio Mexico-Espana).She is also on the Board of Advisors for Violy & Co. Her past Boards include Software AG, Hatton Investments, Sabertia Capital Partners, based in Barcelona, Spain, EYELOCK, a Biometric NYC based start-up and Board of Trustees of Sweet Briar College. She supports Jorda Partners with HQ in Vienna, Austria in special global projects.

Elaine is a Member of the International Women’s Forum (IWF), and has founded various chapters globally, including Spain, Venezuela amongst others. She is the Global Strategic Advisor to Art Solution and MasterArt (Belgium) and to Athena Art Financial Services (NYC) , to Falcon Group (UK) and to Student Global Llc with HQ in NYC. She is a member of the Cousteau Society, The Smithsonian Institution, The World Wildlife Fund, The Sierra Club, the Americas Society and Council of the Americas in NYC, and she is an elected member of the two leading business organizations, El Círculo de Empresarios and SECOT in Madrid and El Círculo de Economía and Circulo Ecuestre in Barcelona.

Elaine, a Mexican, Spanish and a US-citizen, is married to a Spaniard, has lived in more than seven countries and speaks fluent Spanish, French, Italian, Portuguese and English. She earned both a BA in International Affairs and a BS in Environmental Studies from Sweet Briar College in Virginia, USA.  She also has a Diploma from Institut des Sciences Politiques and from Universite de Paris VII in Paris, France.

Bob Nolan is a Strategic Advisor to Rellevate.
Bob Nolan is a Senior Advisor to BBH Capital Partners and is actively involved in sourcing and investment evaluation. Mr. Nolan has substantial experience as both a Board member and investment professional. Mr. Nolan is the founding partner of Halyard Capital and was the Managing Partner from its formation in 2000 until end of 2018. He also served as the Chair of the Investment Committee for all investments made during that period ( 35 Investments totaling more than $500 million invested and $900 million returned to date)has served on the Boards of numerous portfolio companies including Jun Group, Engauge Marketing, LLC; Women’s Marketing, Inc., Practice Insight, American Consolidated Media, Inflow, North Dakota Holdings, and TRANZACT.

Prior to founding Halyard Capital Mr. Nolan served as the CEO of the BMO Private Equity Group, overseeing an investment portfolio with more than $1 billion in capital spread across four separate Private Equity funds. He was also responsible for the Bank’s third-party fund investments. Prior to joining BMO Mr. Nolan was a Managing Director and Head of Media & Telecommunications Investment Banking at CIBC World Markets, as well as a Managing Director and Telecommunications Group Head for Investment Banking at UBS Securities. He also worked for nine years at Goldman, Sachs & Co. in the Telecommunications, Media & Technology Group. Mr. Nolan graduated from Georgetown University and received a J.D. from the Fordham University School of Law. He serves on the Georgetown University McDonough Business School Board of Advisors and the Fordham University Law School Entrepreneurial Law Advisory Council. Mr. Nolan is also actively involved as an advisor or board member to Connecticut Innovations, Mission OG, Curacity,Point Pickup Technologies and the Blind Brook Club. He is also a member of the New York and Washington, D.C. Bar Associations.

Barbara B. Schoenfeld

Barbara SchoenfeldBarbara Schoenfeld is a Strategic Advisor to Rellevate.

Barbara Schoenfeld is Managing Director of Saffron LLC, a consultancy for growth strategy. Ms. Schoenfeld has a background of over 35 years of experience in the financial services sector as a corporate lawyer, executive and board member.

She is an experienced angel investor with Cherrystone Angel Group since 2006 and has served multiple leadership roles. She is involved on the boards of portfolio companies Rellevate and Florence Health and is an advisor to Unruly Studios. Her financial services experience includes Chief Operating Officer of Brown Brothers Harriman’s Alternative Investment Group, with responsibility in the operation and distribution of private equity and hedge funds of funds; as well as Vice President for sales and marketing institutional asset management to endowments and foundations.

Ms. Schoenfeld served as Deputy Treasurer/General Counsel of Rhode Island. Her responsibilities included oversight of the public pension plans’ $6 Billion portfolio’s investment manager selection and oversight. Previously, Ms. Schoenfeld practiced corporate law at Edwards & Angell and at Ropes & Gray. She represented lending institutions, private equity firms and operating companies in financings, mergers & acquisitions, and general corporate matters. She established Saffron LLC as an executive search business in 2007, drawing on her industry expertise and contacts. Her clients included global banks, private equity and hedge funds for whom she placed leaders in operations, business development, sales, compliance, and board roles.

Ms. Schoenfeld is a board member of the Naval War College Foundation and the Newport Art Museum and is an Expert advisor to the Social Enterprise Greenhouse. Barbara has a Law degree from Boston University Law School and Bachelor’s degree, Master of Social Work and Master of City Planning degrees, all from the University of Pennsylvania.
